KEY NOTES:
This is the very photo that started my questions. When I look at this photo still I would never guess that an
entire 757-200 disappeared here. I think the following quote explains it best from an actual eyewitness.
Skarlet (webmaster of punkprincess.com)
September 11, 2001
"...it was headed straight for the building. It made no sense...A huge jet. Then it was gone. A massive hole in the side of the Pentagon gushed smoke.
The noise was beyond description. The smell seemed to singe the inside of my nose....Buildings don't eat planes. That plane, it just vanished.
There should have been parts on the ground. It should have rained parts on my car. The airplane didn't crash. Where are the parts?
That's the conversation I had with myself on the way to work...There seems to be no footage of the crash, only the site....There was
a plane. It didn't go over the building...I want to see footage of the crash. I want to make it make sense."
Skarlet's desire to see footage brings up a good point. There is no footage of this attack at all (except for what was confiscated).
In New York the North Tower impact was caught by accident on video at 8:46 but only 16 minutes later the South Tower impact
was recorded on video 4 different times with numerous still photos as well. From the first tower impact to the Pentagon impact
was 52 minutes with every news channel broadcasting the event, rumors of planes heading to D.C., and official alerts sent to D.C..
Washington is a media laden town with headquarters of all major media outlets. For some reason not one single media person or private citizen
recorded any video or still photography of the 757 heading toward or striking the Pentagon.
