DESCRIPTION: This is DCFD Truck 10. I spoke with a firefighter from this apparatus and the best memory he has of moving to this location was approximately 11:30. They had been staged around 10:15 near the Jefferson Memorial and then moved in to fight these higher fires with the aerial.

KEY NOTES: This is the tail end of the fire progression north. The green foam canisters were moved from the heliport fire station very early in the incident. The van in the picture was there from the beginning of the incident and is used by the firefighters for local trips to training etc. You'll notice a large piece of debris with a "c" on it near the northwest corner of the heliport tower. The firefighter I spoke with said it was approximately 3 feet in the longest dimension. There is more info and photos of it on the Debris Page.
