My question is why the leader of a country who had been attacked by terrorists would address the United Nations
and even mention "conspiracy theories"? Aren't conspiracy theories just crazy? Weren't there more important things to consider like,
how did NORAD fail, why didn't Intelligence detect the plot, NTSB investigations, and a 9/11 commission to investigate what happened?
RUMSFELD ON 9/11
In his private dining room to U.S. Rep. Christopher Cox, R-Calif minutes before the attack.
"He said, 'Let me tell ya, I've been around the block a few times. There will be another event.' And he
repeated it for emphasis," Cox said. "And within minutes of saying that, his words proved tragically prophetic." CJ Online (free registration to see article).
After this, Rumsfeld went out onto the Pentagon lawn to make an appearance
(Article text and photo). How did he predict the
third attack?
Why did he feel safe to go out?
What is the Secretary of Defense doing taking chances with our national security by risking his life outside while we're under attack?
What if there had been a fourth attack (there was a fourth plane)? What if he'd been killed?
Or did he know the attacks were over? Following is a second version of the story where he even suggested the attack might
be on the Pentagon.
"Donald Rumsfeld, the Secretary of Defense, was in his office on the eastern side of the building, in
a meeting with Christopher Cox, the defence policy committee chairman of the House of Representatives. Mr Rumsfeld, recalls
Mr Cox, watched the TV coverage from New York and said: 'Believe me, this isn't over yet. There's going to be another attack,
and it could be us.'
Moments later, the plane hit. Mr Rumsfeld ran to the point of impact and helped load the wounded on to stretchers before
retreating to the secure National Military Command Centre, beneath the building. There, he refused entreaties to
evacuate even as the Centre filled with smoke."

If he even remotely thought that the Pentagon might be attacked then why wasn't the building put on high-alert? Why wasn't he
already in the bunker? Did he know the plane would fly right over the front of the building where his office was do
a 270 degree turn and hit the only blast reinforced wall of the Pentagon?

this building and similar (inaudible) that damaged the World Trade Center."

In the speech, Rumsfeld made a passing reference to United Airlines Flight 93, which crashed in Pennsylvania
after passengers attempted to stop al Qaeda hijackers. But in his remarks, Rumsfeld referred to the "the people who attacked
the United States in New York, shot down the plane over Pennsylvania."

The dramatic difference between a plane being shot down and American heroes giving their lives to prevent further attacks
cannot be understated. They are fundamentally different concepts with different emotions. This was a confession.
CHENEY ON 9/11
Interview in the vice president's office with CNN's John King.
Word came that Flight 93 crashed in Pennsylvania. Aides frantically called the White House to find
out whether a military jet had shot it down. "The vice president was a little bit ahead of us," said Eric Edelman, Cheney's
national security advisor. "He said sort of softly and to nobody in particular, 'I think an act of heroism just took place
on that plane.'"

A little bit ahead? He is in an underground bunker, there is confusion everywhere, they didn't even know if our own military had
shot the plane down and suddenly Cheney foresees the "let's roll" story of heroism? There are a million things that could have happened to that plane.
The least likely thing you would expect is passengers to rush the cockpit and crash the plane. How in the world did he know in advance that would be the story? Even his own aide said, "The vice president was a little bit ahead of us".

Here we see the president concerned over "conspiracy theories", Rumsfeld's and Cheney's prophetic powers, and Rumsfeldian slips
suggesting something other than a 757 hit the Pentagon, and admitting that Flight 93 was shot down. In addition to that, Larry Silverstein the
leaseholder of the WTC complex admits the building was "pulled" or demolished and to back this up Dan Rather calls it exactly
like it is - a controlled demolition. Then finally the real heroes sharing their experience. These quotes are all in the mainstream media.
I myself am not an "activist", however I can barely tolerate the deception that has been perpetrated on America.
9/11 has been used as a pretext to pass the Patriot Act and many other new laws.
It has been used to justify the invasion of two countries and resulted in the deaths
of American soldiers, foreign citizens, and the permanent disabling of thousands of human beings (and Iran may be next). The whole time this has been going on
we still don't know what happened or who was responsible for the event that started it all.....9/11. If this bothers you just a little then write a letter, make a phone call,
